Not so much...
Okay. I'm going to put this out there:
You know when you're in a conversation, and someone starts describing the layout of their house and/or apartment? You know, like the floor plan? Like when someone starts describing the layout of their rooms?
"You go in the front door, and to the left is the blah blah blah, and then off the blah is the blah blah with the cutest little blah blah blah, and a nice built in blah. And then off the blah are the stairs that lead down a floor into the renovated blah, and then back up again into a sunken blah blah. Oh, and then off that blah is the stairs to the basement, and to the double blah blah, and to the right off that is the blah."
This sort of conversation is... super boring. And I'm rarely, if ever, listening.
There. I've said it.
Forgive?

Haha ... I'm in these conversations all the time but I must admit most of the time it involves nerdly topics reinforced concrete bridges or some such weirdness ... I try and stay focused but it seems the more I try the more the theme song from 90210 keeps running through my head... sad but true!
Fingers!
Forgive.
What about reading descriptions like these? Do you skim over?
Ha, Fingers, I am with you there. I start to picture that drinking duck from the Simpsons (the one in Homer's head)....rocking baaaack and forrth. Then I start to check out the persons eyebrows....
yaa, I know it is weird.
Hmm. Good question, Pants. I'm going to have to say yes, but only because I really can't visualize it. But, if I've asked for a description, then I'll defs read it, and really squint my forehead and try and envision what it looks like.
Like you in your parlor with your half couch. I like to imagine that.
And Lady G... I'm worried you look at my eyebrows and think I need serious help. Because I do.
